Security and legal compliance | To protect our systems, prevent misuse, keep business records and comply with legal, accounting and regulatory obligations. |
6. Legal bases for processing
Where the GDPR applies, we rely on appropriate legal bases such as consent, performance of a contract or steps before entering into a contract, legitimate interests in operating and improving a business website, and legal obligations such as accounting or compliance requirements. Consent can be withdrawn at any time where processing is based on consent.
7. Analytics, advertising measurement and cookies
We may use analytics, tag management, search performance and advertising measurement tools to understand website performance, measure conversions and improve marketing. These tools may process technical and usage data such as visits, clicks, conversion actions, page performance and campaign effectiveness. Non-essential cookies and similar technologies are used only according to the visitor’s consent choices where consent is required.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not disclose collected personal data to unrelated third parties for their independent marketing purposes.
8. AI and automation
DME may use professional AI and automation tools to support website analysis, content quality checks, SEO/GEO review, reporting, quality assurance and workflow automation. Customer personal data is not used as AI training material. We do not send confidential customer personal data to third-party AI tool models. Where AI or automation is used, it is limited to business-relevant analysis, website performance information or anonymized/limited data where appropriate.
9. Client account access and project data
When providing services, DME may need access to client-approved tools such as analytics, advertising accounts, websites, SEO platforms, CRM systems or email marketing platforms. Access is requested only with the client’s approval and used only to deliver agreed services, reporting, analysis, troubleshooting and optimization. If a client’s own customer lists or lead data are required, they are processed only where necessary and only with the client’s approval.
10. Where data is stored and protected
Contact form and email inquiries are stored on protected email or server environments. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse or disclosure. Access is limited to authorized persons and service providers who need access for business, technical or legal purposes.
11. Service providers
We may use professional service providers for hosting, email, analytics, advertising measurement, security, automation, booking, communication and business operations. These providers process data only as needed to provide their services to us or to support the services we provide to clients.
12. International data transfers
DME operates internationally. We use appropriate safeguards where required by applicable law, such as contractual protections, security controls and limited access practices.
13. Data retention
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, including responding to inquiries, providing services, maintaining business records, meeting accounting or legal obligations, resolving disputes and protecting our rights. Where the GDPR applies, this follows the storage limitation principle in GDPR Article 5(1)(e), meaning personal data should not be kept longer than necessary for the relevant purpose.
Typical retention approach: inquiry and communication records are kept for as long as needed to respond and manage the business relationship; client project records are kept during the client relationship and for a reasonable period after completion; accounting and legal records are kept for the period required by applicable law. Data may be deleted or anonymized when it is no longer needed.
14. Marketing communication
We may send informational or marketing communication to people who have consented, requested information or subscribed to receive resources. You may unsubscribe or request that we stop sending marketing emails at any time by contacting niko@dmevolution.com or using any unsubscribe method provided in the message.
15. Your rights
Where applicable, you may have the right to request access to your personal data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability, objection to processing and withdrawal of consent.
16. Children
Our services are intended for businesses and adults starting or operating a business. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 18.
17. Payments
Project fees, if any, are handled outside the website through agreed business arrangements. Accounting records are retained as required by applicable law.
